The US Geography Olympiad is gearing up for by far its largest National Championships ever with over 500 students set to compete in Atlanta on June 1 at our 2018 Middle School and Elementary National Championships! Remember that we’ll crown a different National Champion in each of five age classifications (8th grade, 7th grade, 6th grade, 5th grade, and 4th grade and younger) as well as award prizes for the top ten finishers in each of these classifications as well. Please review details on the competition here, and please see last year’s exams here for the best resource in terms of what to expect. Registration will remain open through May 20 here, though if you are also interested in competing in the US Academic Bee and Bowl, the National Science Bee, or the National Humanities Bee, please use the form here to register. Further details on Nationals will be sent out to competitors and their families in a series of emails beginning on May 21.
Note that our 2018 National Championship Exams and Answer Keys for the Varsity and Junior Varsity divisions (which took place on April 27 in Arlington, VA) have now been posted here as well, and are available to practice with for future competitions.
