Congratulations are in order to Karthik Karnik of King Philip Regional High School in Wrentham, MA who scored a 97 on the US Geography Challenge Qualifying Exam (B Set) on January 26 at our Massachusetts State tournament site! His score is the highest of any student on any version of the US Geography Challenge Qualifying Exam so far this year. Karthik missed just one question on the entire exam; perhaps he’ll be back looking for perfection at the A Set Exam to be administered at Lexington High School in Lexington, MA on March 9. So far this year, approximately 400 students have competed in the US Geography Challenge in its inaugural year and registrations for Regionals and Nationals continue to come in each day. We hope you’ll be able to join us at a Qualifying Exam site near you!
